Ah yes. Consistent one week and very disjointed the next. That is my life story, so certainly my blog will reflect my normal life.
What have I been up to? School, school, and more school. Oh, and some interior decorating.
On the subject of school: IT’S ALMOST OVER FOR THE SEMESTER! Woohoo! I love the Fall semester because it has so many breaks: labor day, fall break, Thanksgiving break. Fabulous. I don’t have many more assignments, which is nice. :)
As far as interior decorating goes, we finally found some damn curtains for the office and for the bedroom. I love the office curtains (or should I say curtain since we only grabbed one panel?), and I like the bedroom ones pretty well. I had originally wanted to make them, and make them be room darkening, but instead ended up with some crinkly voile sheers.
I’d love to take pictures of everything, but our apartment has exploded once again. It seems like once we get everything clean, suddenly it’s a mess again. Anyone else feel that way?
The pest control people came today to do their every-three-months spray to prevent bugs and left the “we were here while you were gone” note next to the pile of dishes in the sink. On the back of this note is says, “To prevent and control pests, please wash dishes and utensils daily.” And to add insult to injury, they left our apartment door unlocked. Gee, how nice, huh?
I did make a complaint with our complex manager because I was pissed about them leaving the door unlocked. It’s not like we have thousands of dollars of electronic equipment in our apartment anyway. Yes, the renter’s insurance would probably cover theft because of our complex’s agents’ negligence, but it’s not just the physical equipment. All of our photos and documents are on all of our computers. And a LOT of them AREN’T backed up on the internet!
Anyway, that’s all for now. I need to do better about taking photos for the blog. I think it is more interesting to have a couple of photos along with text instead of the wonderful “wall o’ text” I tend to enjoy.

I have decided not to clean our apartment now as we will be moving and I will have to clean it again when we move out. Makes perfect sense to me.
I’ve gotten way worse about cleaning now that we have the house. It’s just so much bigger, it’s so harder to get the gumption.
